Plant Spacing Combined with Nitrogen Nutrition Affects Loose Flower Production in Rosa gruss-an-teplitz Under Open Conditions

چکیده

The present investigation to study the effect of nitrogen and planting density for open grown roses loose flower production was carried out at Department Floriculture Landscaping, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana during 2020-21. Two years old plants were used this which planted three different spacings 70 x 100 cm, 90 cm 80 cm. fertilized with four levels 0 g, 1.5 2.0 g 2.5 per plant monthly interval starting from pruning. experiment laid in FRBD Design twelve treatments each having replications. treatment combination comprising month spacing resulted maximum height (109.83 cm), spread (95.67 diameter (6.83 weight (3.45 g), number flowers (389.66), yield (0.85 kg) hence, (3348.47 acre. flowering recorded earlier under as it exhibited 64.00 days. shelf life (10.87 hrs) statistically par spacing.
